ASSIGNMENT OF GRADE THE PAPER or PROJECT WITH PAPER IS DUE THURSDAY OF TENTH WEEK. The student will submit one copy of the paper (or project with paper) to the Faculty Advisor and one copy to the AIP Office. Once the AIP Office receives the student’s academic work a grade report will be sent to the faculty advisor to be completed and sent back to AIP. The AIP office will then submit the final grade to the registrar, which is based on the successful completion of this academic work as well as the performance within the internship itself. APPROVAL OF EXTENSION All research papers are due Thursday of the 10 th week of the quarter to the Faculty Advisor and to AIP. If an extension is necessary it must be granted by the Faculty Advisor in writing (email is expected) and approved by the AIP Office no later than Thursday of 10 th week. The extension must include a specific new date to which the extension has been granted. If neither a Research Paper (project with paper) nor an extension is received by Thursday of 10 th week the student will be subject to a No Pass grade.
When given an extension, the new date is considered a deadline and is subject to the same policies as the original deadlines. Please see “Assignment of Grade” section for policies.
