RESEARCH PAPER/PROJECT INFORMATION
(4, 8, and 12 unit internships)

The Faculty Advisory Board appointed by the Academic Senate has set guidelines for the following options in order to fulfill the Academic Internship research papers or projects:

    1. Research Papers:
    2. All research papers must contain substantive academic content with a strong analytical focus. Papers must be standard, 12 point font, one inch margins, double spaced, and they must include a separate bibliography page. Papers must be on a topic related to the industry. Please see below for page and bibliography requirements designated for each unit option.
    1. Evaluative Reports:
All evaluative reports* must integrate theory from readings and course work with the student's experience at the internship. This can include data gathered through interviews, reports, etc.
    1. Projects:
    2. All projects should be related to the industry, but separate (not requested) from the organization, and must be accompanied by a paper* describing and analyzing the work that went into it. Please see below for the minimum page requirement for each unit option.

    * All reports and paper components must follow standard paper formatting guidelines outlined on "Research Papers" section.

STUDENTS: Please attach a Title Page when submitting Research Paper/Projects and don't forget to submit a copy of your paper to both the AIP office and your Faculty Advisor!
