The Academic Internship Program provides you the opportunity to live and intern in Washington, DC while earning academic credit from UCSD.

Washington, DC has something for almost everyone, whether you're interested in politics, arts, sciences, media, international affairs, or anything in between. An AIP counselor will work with you one-on-one to help you secure an internship opportunity that suits you. All majors are welcome!
The PRIME Program, founded with grant funds from the National Science Foundation, provides students the opportunity to participate in research internships in Pacific Rim countries with the theme of improving the international cyberinfrastructure. The PRIME program focuses on two major components, the internship/research experience and the international experience with emphasis on development of cultural competency. At their international host sites, PRIME students collaborate with scientists, research professionals and other students. PRIME students are hosted by institutions in:

Students participating in the PRIME program are enrolled in the Academic Internship Program to receive academic credit for their internship, as well as a transcript notation.
