Academic Internship Program (AIP)
Established in 1976, UCSD's Academic Internship Program offers students the opportunity to apply academic knowledge and skills in diverse corporate and community settings while earning academic credit. While AIP is housed in Warren College, it is a campus-wide service. Students receive guidance by counselors in choosing appropriate internships, résumé preparation, and placement facilitation. Counselors also offer direction in choosing a faculty advisor and fulfilling research paper requirements. AIP counselors connect with community members interested in creating internships and hosting interns. Examples of local community settings include:
International Organizations |
Human Service Agencies |
Publishers |
Advertising Agencies |
Television and Radio Stations |
Law Firms |
Governmental Organizations |
Elected Officials |
