Ally is a fourth year Revelle student double majoring in Political Science and Communications. She entered University with an existing passion in advocacy for the Differently Abled community and hopes to influence policies to improve the rights of individuals internationally. In her third year, Ally embraced her love for filmmaking and media by adding her double major in Communications. She had the opportunity to intern with the UCSD Athletics Department and ESPN while simultaneously receiving course credit through her enrollment in the Academic Internship Program (AIP). Over the course of her four years at UCSD, Ally has also been involved in the following organizations: Triton Community Leadership Institute as a Student Participant, the ACLU of San Diego as a Precinct Captain, Women in Sports of San Diego as a Student Member, Women of RSN Externship as a Participant, The Triton newspaper as a Staff Photographer, KSDT campus Radio Station as both a DJ and Media Intern, and the UCSD Chapter of CALPIRG as both a Summer Intern and Volunteer. In her free time, Ally enjoys: roller skating, hiking, surfing, playing pickup basketball and creating an infinite number of new playlists on Spotify. After graduating, she hopes to intersect her passions for advocacy and media through non-profit or sports live broadcasting work.
