UC Center Sacramento Internships

An experiential internship is an integral part of the UC Center Sacramento program. To accomplish this, UCCS faculty and staff work closely with students to ensure that internship placements meet the goals and interests of each student. Almost every policy issue and field can be explored through this experiential internship - see below for examples.

The internship placement process requires preparation and review. After a student is accepted into the UCCS program, the UCCS internship coordinator will reach out to schedule a telephone interview.

During this call, the student and the UCCS internship coordinator will discuss:

  • A venue for the internship
  • Policy issues of interest to the student
  • The placement process

Please see Placement Process (PDF) for more information on the internship placement process.
