Application Deadlines

• Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 Priority Deadline: October 4th, 2026

• Fall 2026 and Winter 2027: Limited spots still available! Apply as soon as possible.

Eligibility

Students from all majors are encouraged to apply and should meet the following eligibility requirements before the program start date:

• 90 units completed
• At least 2 upper-division courses completed
• 2.5 GPA (3.0+ preferred)
• US citizenship is not required for the UCDC application
  • Please reach out to ucdc@ucsd.edu with questions

Application Materials

Complete applications must be submitted by the priority* or final posted deadlines. 

The following documents must be uploaded to the  application portal at my.ucdc.edu.

• Statement of Purpose (PDF) - Click link for instructions
  
• One - Two Letters of Recommendation (PDF)
  • Letters of Recommendation may be submitted online in my.ucdc.edu, in person (AIP Office, Teaching and Learning Commons @ Geisel) or by email:  ucdc@ucsd.edu
  • A UC faculty letter is not required, but we suggest one letter of recommendation from a faculty member

* If you apply by the priority deadline, you have a higher chance of getting accepted into the program and notified earlier. If the deadline is marked "open until filled," applications will continue to be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the program is full.
